All everybody wants to talk about is the Nintendo Wii. I own a PS 3 and I think it’s the best video game system out there. The games are better and you can tell it’s the most powerful system on the market If money is an issue there are other ways to buy one.
Fully agreed. Now I give Wii all props for it’s new controller system but man the PS3 is GREAT!
Perfect example for PS3 is Drake’s Fortune. I have played it 7 times and each time I am blown away by the graphics, the gameplay, the story, everything…..the PS3 engine is fantastic…and i love the rechargeable wireless controllers so no more batteries

i think xbox 360 gets more of the credit atleast based on G4. but i think the PS3 had a crappy start and the 360′s start was spectacular. so now everybody’s looking to 360 cause they know they can rely on it for good games. but i guess your talking about the wii and i dono anything about that. i hate it i know that.

The PS3 is a poweful system, its definitely worth the money, and im on it right now lol. The games for it look better than 360 and they’re having a big exclusive game like Metal Gear Solid 4 releasing in a few days and thats definitely going to get the PS3 mad respect.

It wont, it is junk. I know because I have one, the 80g. I bought a gaming system to game, not to become a computer technician. My ps3 gets online no problem and the system updates itself all the time just fine. However, EVERY friggin game I buy needs an update. The update fails 100% of the time, every time. So now I can’t play a game without constant prompts to update the game, it’s friggin retarded. Simply put the PS3 network is weak and feeble. As much of a PS fan as I have been over the years, I hate to say it, but XBOX 360′s network is solid. And forget about the video settings on PS3. I have a 1080p Tv, and my PS3 cant recognize it. When I try to play GTA, the text on the screen during the game is so blurry, I CANT READ IT!?!?!? Hows that for High Def??? The best my lame PS3 will do is display at 480P!?!? So thanks Sony for getting me to blow a ton of cash.

The reason why the Wii is getting so much attention is because it’s different. Not necessarily better, but different.
I had my 60+ year old Catholic mother-in-law playing (Wii Sports) and she had a blast! Can you imagine me trying to get her to watch, let alone play a game like GTA4??? By appealling to everyone, the Wii has become the system to talk about, even it you hate it.
From a party/ multiplayer stand point, the Wii is hands down superior. It is far more exciting to have people moving all around competing vs just twiddling your thumbs at each other.
However, for the "hard core gamers" out there, the Wii has little to compare with either the Xbox 360, or the PS3. It simply doesn’t have a game like Halo 3 or GTA4.
