I found a great … I found a great free prog called Debut it can capture full video played on media player or power dvd can be assigned hot keys can be resized has lots of different output formats and also captures sound well in sync
zelgadiss – I agree … zelgadiss – I agree, camstudio is ‘orally decompressive’ (sucks). I like AviScreen – but its not very good at recording games. I don’t record games often but Fraps will record audio as well as video from games And show your ‘frames per second’ (fps) – but the free version will only record 30 seconds at a time ($37US for the full version).
This is a demo for free Video capture software (as opposed to a ‘still’ screen-capture).

camstudio is terrible, the video codec always mess up.
hypercam is good but it always lagg when you’re recording game session.
what are your favorite choice for video capture?
